My top 10 favorite mangas/manhwas
I have read a lot of mangas & manhwas and some of them are BORING, others are just SO-SO, and there are those that are so incredibly INTERESTING that I wish there’s more. With that, I want to share with you my top 10 favorite mangas & manhwas. I really had a difficult time coming up with the list only for the simple reason that I do have lots and lots of favorites! (LOL) So check up my list and maybe some of these will interest you! ^_^

MY TOP 10 FAVORITE MANGAS/MANHWAS:
(Not in any particular order)

1. Noblesse

Plot:
Noblesse is about a powerful, noble vampire - Cadis Etrama Di Raizel (also called Rai) - who has been asleep for 820 years with no knowledge of mankind's advancement and scientific successes. He has recently woken up in an abandoned building in South Korea. He is starting to get used to the modern world, often with the much-needed help of his loyal servant, Frankenstein. Rai enrolls in Ye Ran high school and inadvertently befriended Shinwoo - an athletic teenager, Ik-Han - a computer geek, Yuuna and a few others. Noblesse follows the group's often dangerous adventures against a secret organization while uncovering Rai's past.

Why?
--- This is my first webtoon manhwa I’ve ever read. I love that I can read with colors in it! (yay)! At first, I hesitated reading this manhwa because it involves VAMPIRES. I was like (>_>) Tsk tsk, just another vampire story... So, I ended up not reading it, (T_T) which was a big mistake!!!! It was after a year (yeah, year), when I got a chance to read it. (will not elaborate how) (^O^) Anyway, this manhwa is so GOOOODDD that I wished they will make an anime out of it. The noblesse Rai is so COOOL and very good looking. I love his anecdotal escapades in the real word. (^^)// The characters are all interesting and as the story goes on more mystery and truths are revealed.

2. Youtsuba&!

Plot:
Yotsuba is a strange little girl with a big personality! Even in the most trivial, unremarkable encounters, Yotsuba’s curiosity and enthusiasm quickly turns the everyday into the extraordinary!

Why?
---Weird. Funny. Energetic. Cute. Three words that befitting Yotsuba. It’s very refreshing reading this manga and I can’t help laughing and smiling with all the things Yotsuba do. If you know Amazon’s Danbo, then you should also know that it first appeared in this manga.

3. Glass Mask

Plot:
Kitajima Maya loved acting with a passion. But the odds seem stacked against her--working at a noodle shop delivering them and bogged down with school... But nothing could stop her love for dramas... Will she ever get the chance to pursue her dreams? One of the longest running shoujo series at over 40 volumes, Glass Mask is sure to delight all sorts of shoujo audiences and anyone who has ever dreamed of being on stage.

Why?
---It’s a bit old manga but I really admire Kitajima Maya on her passion in her acting. It’s like you’re watching a soap opera in the television but its better. I think I’ve read it already 10 times while waiting for the next chapters. I just wished that the manga artist will release more soon. (-_-)

4. Red River / Anatolia Story

Plot:
Red River is about a fifteen-year old Japanese girl named Yuri Suzuki, who is magically transported to Hattusa, the capital of the Hittite Empire in Anatolia. She was summoned by Queen Nakia who means to use Yuri as a human sacrifice. Yuri's blood is the key element needed in placing a curse upon the princes of the land so that they will perish, leaving Nakia's son as the sole heir to the throne.

Why?
---I love the concept of time travel. The girl went to past, find love there, etc. etc. This is similar to Fushigi Yuugi but I love this manga much much better. V(^_^)

5. Lone Wolf and Cub

Plot:
In the feudal era of Japan, Ogami Itto is the elite executioner for the Shogun until the ruthless Yagyu clan frames him in an attempt to gain the position. His name dishonored and his wife murdered, Itto and his infant son Daigoro wander Japan as assassin for hire Lone Wolf and Cub. Ultimately, Ogami Itto strives for revenge against the Yagyu clan.

Why?
---Though the manga contains some violence, brutality, slaughtering, and bloods and bloods everywhere; I totally recommend this manga. I learned a lot during the feudal era of Japan through this manga, the samurai’s, the different kinds of swords, and how they live during that era. Ogami’s son Daigoro is so cute! hehehe

Who is the mysterious "friend”; and how does he tie into Kenji's youth? Why are there disappearances and deaths tied into Ochanomizu University? It will all culminate on New Year's Eve 2000. Will Kenji and the rest of the group be able to put together the puzzle and save the world?

Why?
---This manga really makes my brain worked while reading it. I kept figuring out who "friend” is. Read it and figure out yourself who she/he really is!!!!

7. Can’t Lose You

Plot:
In a whirlwind narrative of vanity and conceit, Can't Lose You is the story of two characters who come from opposite worlds but are united by the most unlikely of circumstances: Yooi is a desperate girl working day and night to earn pennies in hopes of one day paying off her father's debts.

Lida comes from privilege and excess, the heiress to an unbelievable fortune and a marriage match she cannot wait to consummate. But when the two girls meet and discover the one thing they have in common is their identical faces their lives take an unexpected turn. As Yooi accepts the irresistible offer of becoming Lida's double, she finds herself in over her head, being chased by assassins and falling head over heels for Lida's fiancé. Meanwhile, Lida is completely unaware of the shocking revelation awaiting her.

Why?
---It’s a sad story of two girls and the twist in their life and fate. I wish they will make a TV Drama out of this manwha.

8. M.X.O.

Plot:
The story starts off with a flashback, Kuzumi Taiga is asked at his school entrance interview what he would do if he could use magic. "Take over the world”; is his reply, followed by an outburst of laughter from a very cute girl. Not much remains in his memory after those events, but he does remember the girl and she is somehow involved in him failing to enter the school of his choice. Wandering around outside of aforementioned school the next day, he gets mistaken for a student ditching class by one of the teachers, and gets pulled into the school through a magic barrier he did not notice. He is in fact a student with no magical ability at all, and it just so happens this is a magic school.

Why?
---I just find it really hilarious and funny!!! How Taiga survive in a school full of magic with no magic at all is a must see! But, the ending kinda (>_>) kept me hanging….

In his pursuit of the "Divine Move’; Fujiwara-no-Sai awakens in Hikaru an untapped interest and genius for the game, and soon the schoolboy is chasing his own dream--defeating the famed Go prodigy Akira Toya!

Why?
---I really don’t have any idea what is GO before I read this manga. But after reading this, I learned a lot from it and how it is being played. I like manga’s like this which involves some competitions and skills.

10. Peach Girl

Plot:
Peach Girl is about a high school girl that everyone thinks is either a beach bunny or a slut because of her tanned skin. The real reason she is so tanned is because she was on the swim team and tans very easily. She likes a boy, Toji, whom she heard only likes fair-skinned girls. She spends a lot of time trying to remake herself into the girl she believes he wants. However, her so-called friend Sae might want him for herself.

Why?
---This manga makes me want to strangle the villain "SAE”!!! She is soooooooooo evil! She pretended to be a friend to Momo ~ the female lead, but the truth is she’s backstabbing her. She did a LOT of evil tricks just to destroy Momo…
